3/4 Through Ryker's First Year

I may as well be chopped liver.  Ryker is so obsessed with his Daddy and every move and sound Daddy makes.  He's such a Daddy's boy.  He has decided he will just eat from a spoon when Daddy makes funny noises (he especially enjoys rooster crows).
Don't be fooled by the outfit - he's really a Daddy's Boy

9 Months old!

Daddy makes the best smoked brisket!

"Rollin' down the street - LAID BACK, with my mind on my mommy, and my mommy on my mind..."
Sooooo close to crawling!

He is very much a boy and loves all things outdoors, including tasting grass and leaves.  He even tasted  a miniature rose, and left the proof in his diaper the next day!  Too funny...
Feeding myself

Fun with Dawson

Johnny Jump Ups - never ending entertainment

Mango, friends, water park - what more could you ask for?

We made a last-minute surprise trip to Minnesota to visit family.  Jon spoiled us with first-class tickets on the way there and Ryker got so much attention from the flight attendant, I'm afraid he will turn up his nose at flying any other way.  Oh well, get used to the back of the plane buddy!
Traveling First Class with Mom

It was special getting to see and visit with family that was pleasantly surprised by our visit.
Visiting Great Grandma Laird

Silly Amelse Cousins

Lunch with Aunt MaryBeth

The "favorites" Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Amy

John Deere ride with Grandpa at the cabin

Playing with 4-legged cousins - Baillie Jean and Henry

Bath time the old fashioned way

Fall in Minnesota

We celebrated fall by visiting a little local farm.  Ryker was enthralled with feeding the animals, playing in the pumpkin patch, and hayride.
Down on the farm - baa!

Fall smiles

Lost in the hay maze

Soooo big!

Stopping to pet the cows with Dad

So sweet, even the cows want a taste!
