The 8th Month With Our Little Miracle

Ryker is getting to be such a little man!  He is such a joy to be around and so sweet and smiley.
My Auntie Rocks - thanks Aunt Amy and Uncle Jimmy!

Stylin'

He really thrives in social settings and loves to get out and meet/charm new people.
"They try to catch me ridin' dirty" - on a bike ride

He especially loves kids and other babies.  When we are out and about and he sees another child he becomes transfixed and wants to interact (I wonder where he gets that social gene from...Daddy??).

We go to the library baby program each week, and he has friends he likes to play with there and on play dates.
Chillin' with his homies - Jackson and Annistyn

Toy envy starts already - with Jaxon and Annistyn

He also has a special smile and charm just for the ladies.  They just can't resist his generous physique (i.e. Budda belly and roly-poly thighs) - or is it his dimple and baby blues?
Impromptu skinny-dip with the bikini-clad ladies at J. Pepe's - he was in heaven!

He is still great with strangers, and thankfully never hit that "stranger danger" phase that supposedly hits around 7 months or so.  Let's hope he continues to be a social butterfly.

Ryker had the pleasure of drumming with Mr. Jim Dailey of the Colin Boyd Band.  He was enthralled - I think earplugs are in my future!

Ryker loves to feed himself and still clams up when mom tries to put a spoon or food in his mouth.  Baby-led weaning (http://www.babyledweaning.com/has been the answer for us! Much happier mom and baby at feeding time - although extremely messy!
He loves his watermelon

Sweet potatoes for a sweetie

He still loves to bounce like a mad-man.  Dad is worried he is going to give himself shaken baby syndrome - he he!  Bouncing becomes especially enthusiastic when Daddy hums the theme song to Lone Ranger.  He also bounces on mom like he's riding a horse.
Let's bounce

Growling is the primary form of communication this month.  He likes to flex his muscles sometimes when he growls and he looks like the Hulk saying, "You won't like me when I'm angry!"
Bouncing, growling, and laughing

And TA-DA!  The biggest first for this month - two shiny new teeth!  First bottom right tooth appeared on August 24th and the bottom left shortly thereafter on the 30th.
Cutest face ever!  Look at those teeth!
